What this site is for
Aquarium.guide helps freshwater keepers choose fish and plants that suit their tank, and the equipment to run it. The equipment catalog links each exact model to comparisons, tank setups and calculators.
It is useful before you buy and when you replace equipment. We don’t diagnose sick fish (for that, see a vet who treats fish), and we don’t claim to have tested the equipment ourselves.
Where our facts come from
Product facts come from manufacturer pages and manuals. We keep each model size and generation separate, say when a maker doesn’t publish a fact, and keep the maker’s ratings apart from what you’ll get in your own tank. Fish and plant care ranges are standard hobby guidance; names, origins and adult sizes are checked against Wikipedia. Each page names its sources.
