Aqueon Aquatic Flat Heater 7.5 W

Aqueon rates it for aquariums of 1–3 US gal; warms the water up to 6 °F above the room.

Aqueon’s small flat heater for desktop tanks, fully submersible and shatterproof, for glass or acrylic. It sticks to the bottom or a side wall with suction cups. Aqueon names no thermostat or setting: it warms the water up to 6 °F above the room.

Consider: Small and flat, with no temperature to set: it adds up to 6 °F to the room, so a 78 °F tank needs a room of 72 °F or warmer, day and night.

  • Never leave it plugged in out of the water, as Aqueon warns.

What Aqueon doesn’t publish
