Plants that suit a betta
- Resting leaves: anubias tied high on wood, and java fern. Bettas rest on broad leaves just below the surface.
- Floating plants: Amazon frogbit and water sprite shade the tank and slow the surface, where males build bubble nests.
- Soft stems: hornwort and water wisteria soak up nitrate in a small tank.
- Easy filler: crypts and java moss.
Tips for a small tank
